Understanding the cost of building a new home involves various factors including site conditions, site costs, the size and design of the home, the location, the quality of materials and finishes, as well as any additional customisation or upgrades. At Infinite Homes, we work closely with our customers to create personalised solutions that align with your budget and preferences.
Yes, it's important to be aware that there may be additional costs or fees beyond the initial tender quote. While we strive to provide accurate and transparent pricing upfront there are factors that could lead to additional expenses. Including:
Site Preparation: If unexpected challenges arise during site preparation, such as rock excavation or soil remediation, additional costs may be incurred.
Inclusion Upgrades: Any changes or upgrades made to the original specifications or design of the home may result in additional costs.
Council Fees: Fees associated with obtaining building permits, development approvals, or other regulatory requirements from local councils may vary and could impact the overall project cost.
Material Price Fluctuations: Prices of construction materials can fluctuate due to market conditions or supply chain disruptions, which could affect the final cost of the project.
We do not offer finance directly. However, we can provide guidance and recommendations regarding financing options through our trusted network of preferred lenders or financial institutions.

The key difference between a DA and a CDC lies in the level of assessment and approval process involved. DAs are more comprehensive and require detailed assessment by the local council or planning authority, while CDCs are faster and more streamlined, applicable to developments that meet specific predetermined criteria and standards.

The duration of the construction process can vary based on a number of factors such as the size and complexity of the build, local council and developer guidelines, weather conditions, availability of materials etc.
To give you rough idea –
Single-storey:
The construction of a single-storey home typically takes a minimum of 6 months to complete from the site start to handover.
Double-storey:
Building a double-storey home requires more time compared to a single-storey home due to additional structural considerations and construction phases. On average, the build time can take approximately 9-12 months to finish.

No, typically changes to the design or specifications of your home are not allowed once construction has commenced. This is primarily because the construction process follows a carefully planned schedule and any changes can disrupt the workflow, leading to delays and additional costs. Additionally, once construction has started, we may have already ordered materials and scheduled subcontractors based on the original plans. Making changes could require halting or altering work already in progress, which can be logistically challenging and costly.
Our goal is to keep you informed every step of the way, providing updates at key milestones and significant stages of construction. Typically, you can expect to receive updates on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, depending on the pace of progress and any notable developments. Additionally, our team is always available to address any questions or concerns you may have and provide real-time updates as needed to ensure transparency and peace of mind throughout the construction journey.

Infinite Homes uses HIA Building Contracts.
Warranties include:
A 6-year structural warranty for major defects and 2-years for minor defects from the date of completion.
We have a dedicated customer care team available to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have after moving into your new home. They are your point of contact for post-construction support and can coordinate any necessary follow-up work.
