But to take some of the guesswork and mystery out of the process, here is a quick guide that will help you understand what to expect when working with the Infinite Homes team and why you can trust that you are in the best possible hands for your new home project. Whether it is the family home, your first home, your forever home, your investment home, we get it, its a big deal and we want to make sure you are happy, confident and stress-free the entire way through.

Step 1: Decide on your new home design and enter into your preliminary agreement.

While this is considered ‘the first step’ we understand that prior to this, we will have walked you through our display or you’ve viewed our designs and finished work online. We will have discussed with you what you are looking for, what is most important to you and how we have your dream home within our standard designs range, or how we can modify to suit your desires or even help you develop a custom concept that we can turn from a vision into a reality. However you got to this point, we will have worked with you and gone above and beyond to gain your trust, boost your confidence and ensure that your new home will be all you have imagined and more! Signing your preliminary agreement is the first formal step you will take towards being a happy Infinite Homes customer.

Step 2: Receive your fixed price tender and complete acceptance.

This is one of the fun milestones in the journey, where you get to the bottom line as to how much your new home will cost. We are completely transparent with our pricing, giving you a fixed price tender, ensuring that you will not be hit with any hidden costs down the track. We pride ourselves on affordability without compromising on quality and being direct and consistent with the pricing information that we provide you. This step will give you peace of mind throughout your build. 

Step 3: Sign your contract and enjoy your colour selections appointment.

This is the moment that so many customers exclaim is the best part of the build. Signing your contract makes it real, while choosing your colours is such a fun and exciting experience. Working with the team, you will be given expert interior design advise as you choose the colours, textures, finishes and overall style and aesthetics of your home giving you the first tangible experience on your new home journey. We will guide you and inspire you at this stage, maybe even pushing you outside your comfort zone to help create the ultimate look and feel that will make you Infinite Home, uniquely yours.

Step 4: Your plans are submitted for approvals and final construction drawings are done.

Ok, by this stage it is really starting to feel real. Your plans are with council awaiting approvals and our team is getting technical with your new home design. There is almost nothing standing between you and your new Infinite Home at this point and we are just as excited as you are. During this stage it might feel a little like you are twiddling your thumbs while we scurry around behind the scenes, but we will be keeping you up to date of progress and will be over the moon when we can give you that call to let you know that we are progressing to the next stage!

Step 5: Sign off on final plans, approvals are received and construction beings.

This is it! Your dream home build is really happening. Feel free to pinch yourself now, we are scheduling trades, ordering materials and busily mapping out your entire construction process, while keeping you updated as we go. There will be milestone payments required throughout the build, which you and your lender will be totally informed about ahead of time, so you can really just relish in the updates and knowing you are edging even closer to your Infinite Home. Our team of trades pride themselves on meticulous attention to detail, while our supervisors will be scrutinising every element of your home, being your eyes and ears on the ground during construction.

Step 6: Construction is complete, handover has been completed, and your maintenance period begins.

We made it! You are now the proud owner of a high-quality, timelessly stylish and unique Infinite Home that has been built just for you. We will be popping the bubbles with you and handing you over the keys, remotes and warranties to your home and appliances and you will be cracking the whip with your movers, getting yourself settled into your new home. Your maintenance period is a time where we expect little issues to arise like with any new home, but the whole point of maintenance period is that we are committed to getting it right and making sure that you are as impressed with your new home as we are.
